  8. You do have the Intel Above Board EMS memory disabled, don't you? Set it to 
  9. Extended memory. Otherwise you have *2* EMS drivers in your computer. Let the 
  10. ACC use the ram chips on the Above Board. Or you can take the Above Board and 
  11. use it as a door stop. :)  Seriously, the ACC works fine with almost all 
  12. boards that can be set to Extended ram. The ACC will convert it to pure 
  13. Hardware based EMS 4.0. Then you get 560k windows.

  18. Ok, here is my Config.sys setup. Checkout the parameters that give me 560k:

  51. I had just the same problem and I spent a lot of time to solve that problem.
  52. After, I do not know, how many tests and questions, I came to the conclusion
  53. that this is not real a bug of DV but QEMM. Qemm influences INT 13 and in
  54. combination with a Award Bios you got the well known result: The machine
  55. locks up when you try to access the floppies.
  56. I tried to load qext.sys before qemm and this helped with the Versions
  57. up to DV 2.22. But when I got 2.25 I had the same troubles again.
  58. At last I found the solution which works for me: I load QEMM with the 
  59. commandline option IGNOREA20 (IA is the shortcut) and it works good for me.

  76. Keith, Thanks for your input. However, a 286/ACC can't run QEMM.
  77. I'm running QEXT which is just for loading DV. The expanded mem
  78. manager for the ACC is ALLEMM4 which is all-computers own driver.
